Bowman Park Children's Camp

Children entering second and third grades this fall are encouraged to participate in the Bowman Park Children's Camp.

History of the Bowman Park Children's Camp

Bowman Park Children's Camp was begun July 29-31, 1982 by a vote of the Administrative Board of the Campmeeting. This camp is designed to meet the spiritual needs of children going into grades two and three as well as providing their first Christian camping experience. Thanks to the working of the Spirit and the leadership and dedication of the workers of this Camp, it has become a successful part of Bowman Park's camping ministry.

Learning how to get along with others, studying God's Word through class and in counsel groups, singing God's praises, and enjoying recreational activities are all a part of the rich camping experience of the Children's Camp. This camp is charged with the task of planting the seeds that bear fruit in our other camps.
